About LegalPsych

We provide top quality psychological support to people going though a legal case and for legal professionals.

“I understand how stressful and draining a legal case is…”

Founder, Mark Bellamy

“As the founder, I've personally faced the draining and impactful nature of a legal case. I was surprised by the lack of specialized psychological support available, so I decided to create a service to ensure that those going through a legal process could be well supported.”

“I also became aware of the high workload and stress levels that legal professionals endure, and realized that both clients and legal professionals needed this service. This decision was not made lightly; it comes after 25 years of supporting high performers in elite sports, the military, the arts, business, and legal cases. The inherent value of this venture is clear to me.”

“Most people have a threshold of stress before they begin to malfunction, and a legal case is a prime example of an event that can stretch one's capacity to the limit. Legal cases do not occur in a vacuum; they happen within the context of daily life and all that contains. We are here to support our clients through and beyond the potentially massive impact of a legal case.”

“For many adults, a legal case is the closest they will come to a fight. It may not be fought with fists, but it can be highly adversarial. I understand how stressful and draining this is, whether you are a client or a legal professional.”

  • We see working with our clients as something that must be done with the best intentions and to the highest standards. We consider the work we do to have high value and want to see that shown the approach our consultants take with our clients.

  • We recognise the pain that a challenge such as a legal case can bring. Our consultants are there to listen and understand what a client really needs as they work with them.

  • We see professionalism as a key part of integrity, doing what we say we will do and doing it to the best of our ability, every time. This means we are prepared and ready to give the best to our clients and we listen and plan accordingly.

  • We work only with those who have the knowledge base to be able to do the job well. Getting to this point is a slow process, our consultants have both the qualifications, the experiential knowledge and the desire to keep learning throughout their careers.

  • If we cannot hear you we do not know what matters to you, it is only then that we can begin a genuinely useful conversation and body of work with you.

  • Over time we hope that you will learn that you can trust our team as much as we do. We understand that trust is both intuitive and built over time, and our aim is to build a trusting and valuable working relationship with our clients.

  • Being a great psychology consultant requires a growing set of skills, whilst other values are of huge value, we absolutely want to know that our team has the right skill-set to enable them to work as well as possible with you.
